Dawson Creek Disc Golf Club

The DCDGC would like to thank the volunteers who helped the initial target installation September  2014 , as well as volunteers who helped install our PDGA chain baskets  September 9th-11th, 2015!  The next plan this spring 2017 is park beautification and disc golf course upgrades at Barbaree & CMP Park utilizing our Northern Health Imagine! Grant.  By year's end we hope to  collaborate and install a course at Bear Mountain with the Nordic CC Ski Club.

We made a commitment to take care of the Disc Golf Course when the City granted us use of the land at Barbaree & CMP park in 2014. The DCDGC Beautification Project volunteers continue to do amazing and much-needed work on the course.  Work parties are an opportunity for members and non-members alike to give a few hours back to the course.  They are always fun, always productive, and you get a good lunch for your efforts…not to mention the satisfaction of having helped to uphold our commitment to taking care of the Dawson Creek Disc Golf Course.

The DCDGC routinely discuss upcoming events and course maintenance projects at periodic club meetings and on Facebook. Members have a voice in issues regarding course maintenance.

The DCDGC thrives on participation of its members! We need people to take on responsibilities, keep the club vital and active, and show leadership and willingness to cooperate.  The club so far in 2017 have participated in two city run Park  & Play events, and are currently preparing donations of Disc Golf Discs and Ultimate Discs to DCSS Central & DCSS  South Peace.
